Congregational Church of God endeavors to serve our community by providing Spiritual foundations, fellowship and support. We also want to help by directing people to resources that are available to assist where we may not have expertise.

SUNY Manhattan Educational Opportunity Center
If you haven’t finished high school or want to improve your English, the MEOC has programs for you. Their free academic programs include English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), High School Equivalency Preparation, and College Prep classes.

Connecting Youth Initiative (CYI)

CYI is managed by The Office of Government and Community Affairs at Columbia University, with the main objective of supporting participants with achieving their educational and employment goals. Through collaboration with local community-based organizations and schools, CYI staff work with under-served young people to identify barriers to their success and connect them with appropriate services and service providers that will address their needs.

The Door

Are you ready for the next step in your education? We provide free college advisement and tutoring, as well as support adjusting to college life, enabling you to get to graduation, college, and beyond. The Bowery Mission
The Bowery Mission offers breakfast, lunch and dinner daily to anyone in need at our Bowery campus (227 Bowery). Breakfast begins at 8 a.m., lunch begins at 1 p.m. and dinner begins at 5 p.m. Meals are served for dining indoors. If preferred, to-go meals are still available upon request. No ID required.
